My favourite festival 😀

This coming Monday will be the day when I celebrate my favourite festival - Hari Raya Aidilfitri. It does not come easy as before I am able to celebrate it, I need to fulfil my responsibility as a muslim by fasting during the month of Ramadhan. Hari Raya marks the day where we can joyously celebrate our victory over our wants and needs.

During this festival, I wake up early to help my mother to cook. Then, we will go to the mosque as a family to pray the Eid Prayer. Once this is done, we will go back home to feast. My mother will cook a sumptuous feast of rendang, ketupat and lemak gravy. They are super duper yummy. I cannot wait to taste the delicious dishes that my mother will be cooking for our family. Not only that, we will also get Hari Raya packet. This means that I will get some money to keep and buy my favourite things.

I will also adorn my new Hari Raya outfit. This year, we have chosen to wear purple, eggplant to be exact. I cannot wait to doll my self up and take lots of pictures with my beloved family.
